Mission and Justice

Geist Christian Church is committed to identifying and addressing the needs of those whom Jesus called the least, the last, and the lost. Throughout the year, members of Geist Christian Church, embody the hands and feet of God, as they support a variety of non-profit organizations in the local, national, and international communities. Our hope is to co-create God’s kingdom here on earth as we seek creative solutions to the problems that plague those who struggle to secure life’s basic needs.

  • We help build and improve homes and lives.

During the year, Geist Christian Church provides several weeklong mission opportunities, both domestic and international. This year we are partnering with two organizations The Fuller Center Disaster Rebuilders and Porch De Salomon to help build up and build back communities both here and abroad.

  • We serve people.

Every year, Geist Christian Church partners with families in the community to provide food and gifts to those who need a hand up during the holiday season. Season of Giving runs from Thanksgiving to Easter as we strive to provide notorious meals for those in our community.

  • We welcome people.

Over the years Geist Christian Church has partnered with Exodus Refugee, an organization that welcomes refugees and asylees from many countries, cultures, languages, and faiths as they establish their lives in Indiana. Since 2020, we have cared for and supported a family from Afghanistan.

  • We feed people.

Throughout the year, Geist Christian Church supports two local food pantries that address food insecurity for those in Hamilton and Marion Counties. Each week bins are available at the Promise Road Campus and Mud Creek Campus to provide ongoing support to the Come to Me Food Pantry and The Sharing Place.
