Bible Studies and Classes
The Between Bible Study (Sundays starting September 22, 9:45-10:30 am, Mud Creek Campus, Room 208 in the Education Wing)
As we journey through life, we are always living between something old and new, structure and chaos, community and isolation. Geist Christian Church wants to create a group for those who fit between the generations as we seek a deeper understanding of our faith and what it means to live in a community with one another. Our first study will focus on context as we work at putting scripture in its place.
The Bridge (Wednesdays, 6-7:30 pm, Promise Road Campus)
Each Wednesday, men of all ages meet to discuss scripture, stories of life, and ways to be the hands and feet of Christ. Deep biblical knowledge is not required. If interested, email Mike Peck at mpeck1189@mac.com as there are occasional activities at other locations.
Exploration Bible Study (Selected Fridays, 6:30 pm, Mud Creek Campus and Zoom)
Join Ryan Hazen, lead pastor, for this bi-weekly study. The class will restart on September 13. Contact Ryan Hazen at Ryan.Hazen@geistchristian.org with questions.

Kerygma (Starting Thursday, September 19, 10:30-11:30 am, Mud Creek Campus Library)
Kerygma is a dynamic study designed to deepen participants' faith by engaging with a diverse range of resources. It encourages open expression of ideas and opinions, all in an atmosphere filled with laughter and fellowship. Beginning September 19, we will embark on a new study focused on context. Together, we’ll delve into well-known Scripture verses, uncovering their true meanings by examining them within their original biblical context. This approach will help us discover fresh and enlightening interpretations often overlooked when these Scriptures are read out of context.
Ladies’ Bible Study (Tuesdays, 11:30 am-1 pm, locations vary)
Beginning September 3, the group will study Twelve Extraordinary Women: How God Shaped Women of the Bible and What He Wants to Do with You by John Macarthur. Contact Jodi Burtner at JodiBurtner@gmail.com or (317) 695-6357 with questions.
Seekers (Sundays, 10:15 am, Mud Creek Campus, North Quad)

Women’s Bible Study (Mondays, September 16–November 4, 9:30 am–11:30 am, Mud Creek Campus)

The cost for the study is $20.
