Katie was called to Geist Christian Church in October 2019. Katie is a Commissioned Minister through the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) Indiana Region. Prior to serving at Geist, she was the minister of Christian education at First Christian Church in Noblesville. She has a degree from Indiana University in finance as well as a certificate in education. She is married to her husband, Patrick, and they have two children, Braydon and Kendall.

In her current children’s ministry, Katie offers opportunities for ages birth to sixth grade to learn about faith through worship, small groups, and events during and outside of regular worship time. Katie seeks to partner with parents to create a meaningful, fun, and safe environment in order to help children along their faith journey. Katie enjoys watching her kids play sports, cheering for the Chicago Cubs and Bears, reading, camping, and going to the beach.
