Rev. Danny Gulden

Rev. Daniel B. Gulden holds a B.A. in Political Science from the University of West Georgia and a Master of Divinity from the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. Danny was ordained by the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Georgia in 2008. Prior to entering the ministry, he was a successful Sales Executive with, and has served in multiple ministerial positions over his career. Prior to serving Geist, he served the wider church as Vice-President of Client Relations for the Pension Fund and as the Senior Minister at Sandy Springs Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) just outside of Atlanta.He strongly believes the church at its best can change peoples’ lives, communities and the world.

Danny is a noted preacher and a seasoned keynoter and workshop leader. He has served the church on the Administrative Committee, the General Minister and President Search Committee, the Georgia Regional Minister Search Committee, the General Board, and the Council on Christian Unity Board. He has led many weeks of church camp and has been on 19 international mission trips. He is an alumnus of the Bethany Fellows. Danny, his wife Mary Michael, and their two daughters Bella (11) and Ava (8) reside in Carmel. In his free time, you will find Danny playing tennis, coaching soccer, and rooting for the University of Georgia Bulldogs.
