“He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?” – Micah 6:8  Loving-kindness sounds like a nice bumper sticker, but the prophet Micah tells us that it’s so much more. It is a requirement of the life of faith. We can find what we are looking for when we give our lives away in love, kindness and compassion for others, rather than trying to take as much as we can for ourselves.
